Meaning "seize the day" in Latin, Carpe Diem is a spacious 35 meter luxury Maldives Islands liveaboard with excellent facilities. Accompanied by a 55 feet diving dhoni it operates 7 night trips regularly and 14 night trips on request. Catering for 20 guests at a time divided over 10 cabins of different categories. The air-conditioned lounge with TV, DVD and music system and a bar is perfect for meeting the other guests and discuss your last dives and enjoy a few cold drinks. Dinner is mostly served in the open air dining area on the upper deck, but there is also a dedicated dining room.

The separate diving dhoni is equipped with a hot water shower and a toilet, two fresh water showers, rinse tanks, 3 compressors and a nitrox system and has been entirely built to the needs and comfort of the divers today.

The Carpe Diem uses local dive instructors/guides who have vast experience and know the wonders of the Maldives under water.
For those who don’t dive yet and would like to learn, there is the possibility of learning how to dive with our fully licensed and equipped PADI dive school on board.

Unique dive itineraries are based on the seasons, current and pelagic migration patterns. In winter (November – April) more concentrated on Ari Atoll and the Southern Atolls like South Male, Felidhu and Meemu. In summer (May – October) more to the Northern atolls like Baa/ Raa and further. Each itinerary is designed in a way to show the guests a little bit of everything like manta’s, whale sharks, sharks, eagle rays, sting rays as well as beautiful soft and hard corals, large varieties of fish and much more.

The Carpe Diem offers standard 3 dives a day including one night dive depending of course on flight arrival and departure timings.
