Scuba Seraya Resort sits amid lush tropical landscaped gardens on a private black volcanic sand beach near the world renowned dive destination of Tulamben, home to the famed Liberty shipwreck on Bali’s northeast coast.

The resort, wedged between the sparkling waters of pristine Muntig Bay and the holy mountain of Gunung Agung, has been carefully and stylishly designed. It’s a picturesque and peaceful haven, featuring thatched roofs, teak furnishings, marble and natural stone from across the Indonesian archipelago. It manages to convey the serenity of a traditional village while also boasting modern amenities such as air-conditioning.

Each ocean view villa has a double bed, armoire, sofa, table and chair, reading lights and electric sockets, with a veranda facing the sea and a private garden with kitchenette, plunge tub, and Balinese daybed facing the sea to catch the breeze. Bathrooms are semi-outdoors, with direct access to the garden and bedroom, and are equipped with a shower and hairdryer.

The garden maisonettes are each furnished with double or twin beds, armoire, table and chair, reading lights and electric sockets. Verandas with a sofa face the garden and have partial sea views. Outdoor bathrooms are equipped with showers.

The resort has a comfortable speedboat to ferry divers to dive sites, all of which are close by, including the renowned Seraya house reef right in front of the resort, home to tons of fantastic critters making for some high quality muck diving. The dive centre facilitates all kinds of divers and photographers.
