Just a twenty minute drive from the local airport (just a sixty minute flight from Manila), on a long peaceful 1.5 kilometer stretch of uninterrupted golden sand, lies the lush and luxurious Atlantis Dumaguete Dive Resort. Surrounded by an amazing tropical garden with some of the rarest plants to be found in the Philippines, it is just a short trip to some of the most renowned dive sites in Asia - Apo Island, Balicasag reef and of course the local Dauin Marine Sanctuaries.

The Philippine Islands are home to more than 3000 species of fish and 448 species of coral – where else can you combine unbelievable muck-diving with pristine coral reefs and shoals of schooling fish.

Atlantis Dumaguete offers 4 Deluxe Sea View rooms, allowing for a commanding view over our naturally harbored area of the Philippine Sea. There are 24 deluxe rooms surrounding the stunning swimming pool area (of which 8 can be combined to form four family suites, utilizing their adjoining doors). Nestled in the tropical garden area are a further 4 Deluxe rooms, together with the Honeymoon Hut. The Family Suite and 2 more Deluxe rooms are located between the pool-bar area and the tropical garden. All rooms have air conditioning, a fully stocked refrigerated mini bar, en-suite facilities, solar heated hot water, cable T.V. with complimentary movie channels and a patio area or balcony.

The diving facilities at Atlantis Dumaguete are top of the range with 60 individual storage cubbies to keep your equipment dry and organized, high quality Scubapro rental equipment and a purpose built training pool. Extras such as a hot water shower in the dive shop equipment porters, and a fresh beach towel every day, snacks and drinking water make diving here a pleasure. Nitrox is available as well as PADI Courses from beginner to Divemaster and Instructor Level.

Atlantis Dumaguete is a Five Star PADI Career Development Center where you will find the highest standard of dive education, first class facilities and world class dive guides. Spacious comfortable boats will take you in small groups of no more than 6 people to the many local dive sites, most of which are within ten minutes of the resort. Talk to your guides about where you want to go and what you want to see. With 5 local dives per day (night dives are available every day) or a day trip to more far ranging sites such as Apo Island, you have plenty to choose from.

For photographers, Atlantis Puerto Galera features a multimedia suite for cameras and internet. There is a sizeable matted workbench area with lightning & air guns and cubbies for camera or laptop storage. For recharging there are multiple sockets with transformers for 220v, 110v and 100v. There is wireless access everywhere in the resort so you can share your photos and videos with friends and family immediately.

Photography workshops allow you to enjoy underwater photography and get the most from the in-house underwater photo instructors. Workshops are offered for Novice, Intermediate and Professional level photographers.
