It is with great pleasure we are offering two unique 10 day trips starting from Male (no additional transfer costs for air-taxi) aboard “MY Sheena” at North-Male, South-Male and Ari Atoll.
You will begin the tour in South-Male Atoll at spots like Kandoomaa Tila and Guraidhoo Corner.
The trips take place during the whale shark and manta season in Ari Atoll at Mamigili Outside. Chances to dive there with these giants are really high! More highlights in the Southern Ari Atoll are for example Brocken Rock, Lucky Hell and Panetone. In the Northern Ari Atoll you will dive at spots like Malhoos Tila, Fish Head and Mayaa Tila.
From there you will continue to Rasdhoo Atoll to see the hammerheads.
Back in North-Male Atoll, you will dive legendary places like Finger Point, Helengeli Tila and Manta Point to complete this extraordinary trip.
The tour is suitable for advanced divers only, due to expected strong current conditions & channel crossings. We therefore require a minimum number of 60 logged dives.

The MY Sheena is an authentic Maldivian diving safari vessel. Measuring 24 meters in length and comfortably furnished, it fulfills every diver’s wish.
The crew of experienced and highly motivated instructors will be happy to show you diving in the Maldives at its best.
The Sheena has a spacious salon, as well as several decks offering either shade or sun all of which are furnished with sun loungers and mats. In addition to the main sun deck, there is also a second sun deck located in front of the wheel house with a comfortable relaxation area. There is a well-stocked bar for the guests’ enjoyment in the salon and on the shaded deck. Meals are served on deck and a barbeque on one of the islands is also arranged once a week – undoubtedly one of the highlights of every tour on the Sheena!
All 8 air-conditioned cabins (one of which is used by the diving instructor), have en-suite bathrooms featuring all the usual facilities – including a shower. Cabins on the lower deck are also suitable for single guests and diving buddies, as they are furnished with two single beds. Both cabins located on the upper deck are larger, with an area of almost 17sqm, and are furnished with double beds.
The Sheena will be accompanied by a diving dhoni with a capacity of transporting 18 divers. The guests’ diving equipment will be permanently stored on the dhoni, as this is from where all diving will take place. It is possible to rent equipment from our fully equipped “island diving center” on Medhufushi from where all tours will leave.
Tours leave every Sunday and will include diving well known, top dive sites in the respective atolls as well as feature an element of “expedition”, diving to charter unknown diving regions. Planning the route and diving schedule will be based on your requests, i.e. travelling to Felidhoo Atoll (hammerhead sharks) and South Ari Atoll (whale sharks). You can rest assured that within a short period of time more and truly spectacular and untouched diving sites will be discovered. As is customary in the Maldives most of the dives will be drift dives and will generally be with the current, and you will be collected by the dhoni wherever you surface. Two – three dives are scheduled per day, and night dives, 1-2 a week.
To participate in a diving safari on the Sheena, each diver is required to show proof of at least 60 logged dives, and if possible, be in possession of an advanced diving license from an internationally recognized diving organization (eg. CMAS 2*, SSI advanced open water/advanced adventurer, PADI advanced or equivalent). |
